  1. Not a bug, and you are not doing anything wrong, it's just how the program works. Manual framing additions/adjustments need to happen at the end of the process.
  2. What did you find in Help? If it can be turned off, you will find the info there.
  3. Have you tried a search in Help for blind? I don't know about the options Interiors has.

    Stair Questions

Select the lower stair section while holding Ctrl. Open the stair and remove the railing. Add the trim (it's not a stringer) manually.
  5. Wall Coverings are a thing in the software -- see the Wall Covering panel when you open a wall. I've not looked at the plan (pictures of the problem always help) but read about Roof Cuts Wall At Bottom, and Lower Wall Type When Split By Butting Roof.

    Polyline Solid

You are watching Chief Architect videos and not Home Designer videos. The Home Designer site is blue themed, just like the forum. And you cannot find the tools because none of the Home Designer titles have them.
  7. Moldings, I think, do not work on sloped soffits.
  8. You need to use manual roof settings to set the pitch to 0".

  10. Try this one. Save it, then drag into Pro to install. Cathedral Arch.calibz
  11. Attach the plan file and I'll have a look. Close Pro first.
  12. Why is this wall different from the one on the left?
  13. What's the 4' dimension? Wall height, in from outside wall? You need to be working on a numbered floor -- whatever is above the garage. You cannot define rooms on the Attic level.
  14. What trouble? What's not working?

    End of Interior Wall

You have added a 0" thick paint layer to your walls that caused this problem. Make this layer thicker, like .001, or remove it and just paint the drywall.

    End of Interior Wall

    Please attach the plan file.

    Fireplaces

I believe that option is still available, but you will need to add it to a Toolbar via Customize Toolbars.
  18. Often a forum search will find an answer. Here is some info on searching. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/26231-forum-search-tips/
  19. Clear these 2 settings on the foundation level. This will turn off auto foundation rebuild, so keep that in mind, but will fix the roof. I believe the program is confused because of your brick over brick wall definition. I'll let you know if I think of a better solution.
