How to define walls?

I'm trying to set the default siding of my exterior walls but cannot find where the wall defaults settings are located.  The help file shows a 'define' button under edit/default settings/wall but I don't have that button.  How do I set wall defaults?

"Edit (main Menu) - Default Settings - Walls- Exterior Wall" . You should also set the same exterior wall material here after setting your exterior wall default here:Edit- Default Settings - Materials - Exterior Wall".

Tried that to no avail.  Additionally, where can i set other default wall parameters, like thickness?

I believe you cannot do so in Suite. 

 

You will need to draw the walls, then paint them with a material.

Here's what you have to do in Suite.

 

You draw the wall, open it's specification box , click materials>exterior wall and change the material.

In the thickness box change the thickness to what you want.

Then go to Edit>default settings>walls, open the exterior wall and select the wall you created. That will be you're default wall

for the plan.
