Post the plan as it can be a number of things i.e. what you sent to the layout is larger than the sheet.

Well I must say its a good response Eric, because until you do read up on it and watch the videos and do the follow along with Mitch process then it will also answer other questions that you might have down the line. Its the only way to learn the software.

Just type the word REGISTER and a 6x10 wall register should show up as a selection.

It is to my understanding that those that you see when under RUGS its like a wall to wall paint job. If you do a camera view and select a room and then click on that oriental rug you will see your cursor change over to a spray can. If you then click on that floor while still in camera view you will see it paint the whole floor as that rug you chose under RUGS.

Just like Rookie 65 said you can create a pony wall for the exterior and then change it to what ever you like. However some of the Homes Designer Software packages have limitations. So first off correct your signature block so it show what version of the software you are using and what package you have. This way it will assist others in responding to your post with assistance. Do a search in the knowledgebase and I'm pretty it will come it. Its all part of learning the software and its components.

I agree with Kat with the KB-00897, I had similar problems until I updated my video card. Never had a problem since.

You placed an invisible wall there. What you should have done was place a Door Way and made it the length you want. Then go in to the Casing tab and remove the Casing.

its hard to visualize what your saying without viewing the plan. Please post a copy of your plan for review so someone can see if they can mimic what your viewing.

The very first thing I saw was the bookcase also. The plan shows doors.
