Your terrain is not displayed in elevation views (layer display options). Also, since your terrain is flat, you can mask whatever you want with a filled cad box, in plan, or in layout.
-
What are you trying to do now -- something different than what you asked about in the other thread? And posting the plan will be easiest for me.
-
What do you want to see?
-
You posted this thread but never responded.
-
So is it working now? There are 2 common sizes of dishwashers -- 18" and 24". The Library should have at least one of each.

I forgot to add, once the roof is correct, turn off Auto Rebuild Roofs, and delete the walls used to raise the roof over the windows. Then change the ceilings to the correct height.
-
This should get you started. Turn on Auto Rebuild Roofs. Go to Edit>Reset To Defaults Select All Floors, and Roof Directives In Walls As Jo Ann said, you need to lower the ceiling height on the top floor -- Go to your defaults and make the rough ceiling 1728 mm. This should change the entire top floor. To create the raised roof over the windows, draw in 3 walls behind each one as shown in blue to create a small room. Change (raise) the ceiling height in that room to raise the roof.

Do I see a Morgan in the drive?
-
I forgot to ask if you had an image of the real house you could post. You plan still had the garage, so I deleted it and rebuilt the roof. Does this look correct?

A new feature in Chief Premier is a poor implementation of this feature. I suspect if it's in any of the Home Designer titles, it is a Pro only feature.

Post your plan file and I'll have a look. Close Suite before attaching.

I'm curious if these walls will import into your library and can be used in your plan. They should go into your User Library, and are named beginning with Wall. If they import, you should be able to click on one in the Library, then start drawing with it. Wall Test.calibz

What's confusing? Do you have a 2nd floor? If not, build one. Put walls where you want.
-
Yes please. No, I'm saying that in Suite, the only way to get rid of a roof is to rebuild all roofs. Why would you think that? If you redraw the house without the garage and build the roof, you will be where you are now -- after deleting the garage and rebuilding the roof. What's wrong with the roof after rebuilding without the garage?
-
Please post images directly as you did in your post above. Rebuilding your roof is the only option in Suite.
-
What happens when you rebuild the roof?
-
Suite lacks, or is very limited in its ability to do this.

Suggest making a copy of the Profile.plan file first. Right click on the Profile.plan file, select properties. Uncheck Read Only. You can set it back to Read Only after making changes and saving.
-
Open your template plan, create a new wall type, save and close the template. Create a new plan using the modified template. Check and the new wall will show up in the wall types dialog.
-
Just tested in Pro 2016. Add to Library does not work -- I forget how limited Home Designer is. (Edited post above to correct) Add to template does work, and is the method I used with Home Designer Pro.

You can save wall definitions in two ways. 1) Add them to a Template Plan. The program uses the Profile.plan file as the default template. Open it, define your walls, then save and close it. They will be there when you start a new plan from this template.
-
I left out a step to fix the wall. Begin by going to the attic level and use the Delete Current Floor command.
-
When you select a wall, look in the Edit Toolbar for the Align With Wall Above and Align With Wall Below tools. They will align walls automatically, by default at the main layer outside.
-
Don't know what caused it, but it's easy to fix. Delete your roof planes. Drag the front 2nd floor wall around the left side replacing the wall with the problem. Set that wall to Full Gable. Rebuild the roof.
