You will need to provide a picture or drawing of your proposed bridge and how it connects to both structures.

The only way to do a curved roof in Home Designer is via a dormer, and not all titles may have this ability.
-
In 2 or 3 months. The latest version of Chief is still in Beta (testing) and is expected soon, and the Home Designer updates are usually released some time after it's released.

I should have said, delete the foundation, then rebuild.
-
Check Monolithic Slab in the new room, rebuild the foundation.

That's a good way with Suite. I you look back a few responses, you will see I drew in a small saddle at this spot, which is how a roofer would handle it.
-
Only Pro does layouts. Make sure you are looking at the Home Designer site -- it's blue themed. Articles indicate at the top which titles (Suite, Pro etc) apply.

This is what I see when looking at the plan. It helps to post an image like this and identify the problems. You can use the Windows Snipping tool to capture part of the screen, circle areas, probably even add text. Looking at the elevations posted, is this the change you want to make? Also, as Jo Ann said, you have no rooms defined on the 2nd floor. If there is living space there and you will have stairs, you will need to have a room. Some of the walls may have No Room Definition checked, so you will need to check for that.

It's not clear what the problem is. Are you using the dormer tool to create the dormers?
-
Did you try that?

Here is a video I made that may -- or may not help. Also with Pro, you have the Custom Countertop tool (read in Help about it). So you can add a countertop where needed. And,

It's helpful to know what appliance you are using, and how you are placing it. If it's not in a cabinet you will not have a countertop. Also good to post your plan file so someone can take a look if needed.

You want something other than this?

Each of these warning symbols marks an off angle wall. Make sure you are drawing with Angle Snaps on. Open each wall and see that it's not at 0 or 90 degrees.

Does the house already exist and you are adding the porch roof?

I bet a search in Help for reflection will turn up the answer.

Delays, delays, delays, … (slow computer system and serious lag)

Check out the Chief forum for performance tips and computer info. You will need to do some searching, but it's a frequent topic. I suggest not starting a new thread until you have done so. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/ -
JAGGED (PIXELATED) LINES ON ANY ANGLE, LOOKS TERRIBLE

It's a hardware limitation -- monitor and printer. Have you tried printing using a high DPI? -

Lines at 0, 45 and 90 degrees will always look better than ones at odd angles. -

I'm not familiar with the AMD processors but the remainder of the system looks OK. Have you run Task Manager while working in the plan? It should give you an idea of the resources being used. You can post the plan file and I'll take a look on my system. What are you doing that takes so long?
