HeidiHome 0 Posted February 11, 2019 Hi, I would like to make a variation of shed roofs over one floor plan. Per the attached graphic, it is a T shape floor plan divided into 3 roof sections. Roof line A and B go the opposite direction for the high shed. How do I do this please. This is in the 2019 Home Designer Pro Thanks much in advance!
solver 630 Posted February 11, 2019 I see you said Pro, but answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using. You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on, then see mine for an example) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. And, turn on signature display too. ---- Resources for self help: The built in Help System (always a good place to start) Getting Started Knowledge Base YouTube
solver 630 Posted February 11, 2019 Like this? Very simple with manual roofs.
HeidiHome 0 Posted February 11, 2019 Wow, yes! My receipt says-Home Designer Professional 2019 I believe I turned on signature display also. So you suggest learning manual roofs in order to do this, correct? Thanks
DavidJPotter 203 Posted February 11, 2019 It can be done by presetting up the shed roofs (see the Roof Styles Tab of the Build Roof Dialog for instructions) or Manuallly, your choice. DJP
HeidiHome 0 Posted February 12, 2019 Going a little crazy here. After two days of trying and upgrading to the home designer Pro 2019 today, have not been successful in finding instructions for multiple shed roof planes over one floor plan. Any more suggestions? HeidiHome 0 Posted February 12, 2019 Did you put a dividing wall between A,B and C? What are you using to make that break between the two different shed roofs I have tried- wall break roof plane Thanks again
