English
I need some help with dentil molding. I downloaded a file from 3D Warehouse and when I place it in my plan it is showing as a front view -- see screen shot. In elevation view it's obviously not displaying correctly. I can't seem to find a way to rotate it so that it displays okay in elevation. Thanks Alan
DavidJPotter
Share a screen shot of it in elevation please. DJP
English
Well I rotated it in the plan view but it's upside down in elevation and there is no option to rotate it. If I rotate in plan view then all I get in elevation is the back i.e. no dentils showing Alan
DavidJPotter
You will have to open it in Sketch UP to rotate it, save it and then reimport into HD. DJP

English
David I downloaded SketchUp and rotated it but when I try to import it, it says it was created in an incompatible software version. Do I have to purchase SketchUp Pro?Thanks Alan
solver
I think you need the previous version of SketchUp. Chief seems to only sync up with the latest SketchUp version when they (Chief) update their products.

Any version you "save as" will work in HD
