  1. No easy way that I know. Depending on the numbers of each, might be easier to select lights and switches, cut them, then select and change outlets, then paste/hold position to put the other back.

Nothing here. Have you looked around on Houzz.com or similar sites?
  3. You need someone with Pro 2016, or Chief X7. Chief needs to set the flag to allow editing in Home Designer. You might post in Seeking Services on ChiefTalk. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/forum/15-seeking-services/
  4. I understand, but what's the problem with them running through? Is it just a visual thing?
  5. What problem are you trying to solve? The beam may be located correctly, so the issue is with the joists?
  6. Don't know why -- move the front wall out an inch.
  7. Manual roofs would be simpler, but review these options to get the roof to build where you want. Make it the actual heights.
  8. You need the 2nd floor. Have you added one to see what happens? Are you using manual or auto roofs?
  9. Always the best place to start ...
  10. Did you uncheck Flat Ceiling Over This Room in the Garage?
  11. Reset your default ceiling to 96" (in defaults). Edit>Reset to Defaults Choose Ceiling Height Raise the garage ceiling to 196".
  12. Select one of the good walls and using the same wall type handle, drag it over the problem walls.

Lots of info on many topics available via a search ...
  14. I started with your plan -- 2 story + attic. Yes if walls are not already there -- see the video. No, the program is smart enough to only build roofs over the highest room. Being able to automatically create walls when you build a new floor is just a bonus. What you are really doing is telling the program to set things up so you can draw on a new floor. It creates a virtual floor. Think of it like you are drawing on paper. You draw the first floor, then get another sheet and draw the 2nd, and another to draw the basement etc. Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/t71oVyTYB58?hd=1
  15. Read what I said above -- you don't build a new floor -- you already have one. I'd also suggest using auto roofs and leaving auto rebuild foundation on.
  16. You already have a 2nd floor. Just draw the walls you want above the addition and set the ceiling height in the room they form.
  17. The simple answer is -- you have Pro, so use its manual roof tools to draw the roof you want. Or, attach the plan file (close Pro first) and say what the roof on the addition should look like and someone will take a look. I see a bunch of other issues with the windows. Is everything correct? Can't say without seeing the issue. You can always download the latest Pro trial and see for yourself.
  18. Since this is a small and simple structure, and you have Pro, so why not use its manual roof tools. Getting a roof like this to auto build is possible as I show above, but much easier and far quicker with manual roof planes.
  19. Auto built roof.
  20. Auto Dormers cannot cross multiple roof planes. You need to form the dormer manually. Search the forum for dormer for some recent info/videos.
