The hallway width should work for you. I understood the laundry access chute.

I assumed the floor above should not be a slab, and changed it so it was wood framed. I guess if I had read the OP, I would have seen it was concrete.

I've attached your plan showing a few changes. I used an invisible wall to define where the slab stops and standard floor framing starts. It's often instructive to review framing to see what the program thinks. There are multiple problems with your foundation. Everything is floating above the slab several inches. The ceiling is following the roof. Easy for me to fix with Pro, but I'm not sure how you would. The big roof is steeper than 12/12. You might play with the pitch, comparing to the picture. I would have guessed that was a church at one time. Looks like you could have a 3rd floor loft space too.

Make upper flight of stairs 5' wide. Add detail above round window in front.

Ideas on the floor plan. The Laundry seems very big -- anything else that could go in there? The hall past the master closets looks small, like it might be a bit congested.

Are you working from field measurements, or just guessing at pitch and other dimensions? If guessing, I'd suggest a site visit to gather all the necessary measurements. You have 3 different pitches, over the large space, over the connector between kitchen, and over the master. These need to be correct in the model for the roof to build correctly. The fascia height is dependent on several things -- roof pitch, overhang and ceiling height. The simple solution is to raise the master bedroom/bath area ceilings to force the fascia to align. Not sure which wall you are referring to, or what looks wrong.

I changed the pitch on the 2nd floor roof to be the same. Not really suggesting this, but I was curious about how it would look.

I should have been more clear. On a 1-1/2 story house, the LAST step is raising the 2nd floor ceiling heights. You will want to get the roof to auto build correctly first, then raise the ceilings. The master bath and hall bath have different ceiling heights than the master bedroom and hall. 3/8" different, but that's enough to change the roof.

David seems to be correct. You can create a representation, but it won't be very accurate.

Start by getting your room heights correct. Adjust roof pitch as needed. The roof between the bedroom and kitchen is a lower pitch, for example. You can break a wall (with the wall break tool) then assign a new pitch to just a portion of a wall. Make sure the fascia height matches the structure. Thinking of just the roof, You will need to think about the connector space leading to the garage. I show a roof over the hall and closet which works OK. Anything bigger does not easily work with the existing roof.

Did this one this morning. And this one for a thread on ChiefTalk sometime last year. Combine the 2 with a bit more work and you should be able to do what you need. I'd create a small room with a floor raised to the bottom of the columns. You might choose Balcony as the room type. The 3 outside walls would be a Pony Wall with the bottom part (where the columns are) as a room divider. Fill in below the columns with a soffit. The arch is created with a Pass-Through, placed in a camera view.

Just did this one as a demo. Check again on your walls.

The automatic bay tools are rather limiting. Suggest you draw your own. Are you able to change other parts of the roof to metal?

I don't think you can. Pro tends to produce "representative" instead of "actual". I note that on the plans with a link to a detail I have created manually. It's like trusses. I draw in trusses, but they are not supposed to represent the actual truss. Rather to act as a visual cue to say trusses will be used.

Have you seen Creating a Cross Section Detail in Home Designer Pro https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-00439/creating-a-cross-section-detail-in-home-designer-pro.html I don't think you can automatically do what you want. You can place the slab at the top of the stem wall. Is the detail shown above taken direct from a plan, or is it a purpose drawn detail?
