Could you post the PDF?

The program does not understand the content of an imported image or PDF. Even at the correct scale, there is nothing to accurately measure from. You will need to create a plan using the instructions David posted above, or create CAD lines that might for example, represent the face of a wall, that you could then dimension from. Giving us more information about why you are trying to do what you are asking about will help others help you.

The word new is not important -- that is, you just want the name to be different so you can tell them apart in the materials. You could add existing, or anything to make the name unique. It does not need to be a copy. You can create new materials, but creating copies is easiest.

Why do they need to match?

You can't. You can create new materials and wall definitions. Create a Drywall, New material, for example, and use it on your new walls. The material list will show it and Drywall -- just ignore Drywall.

I believe you could just draw in your own footing too -- a bit of manual work is the trade off for using Pro. It's a big jump, but it sounds like you are using Pro in a business, and you will find so many things in Chief that help you get your job done better and faster. They have a rent to own program, and usually credit your purchase of Pro towards the outright purchase price of Chief. People sometimes offer Chief for sale on ChiefTalk, although rarely at a good price, it might be worth watching.

What options does Pro have here?

You are asking about the distance from the back of the door to the face of the cabinet? I would simply spec the hinges to be used, not this distance. Typical hinges are adjustable in multiple directions. Why do you see a need to provide this level of detail?

You can make the program happy by changing your wall definition. Add an exterior layer as shown here.

The problem is how you have defined the porch walls. I'm not suggesting you did something wrong, only that the program does not work as you would expect. Is it more of a screened and covered deck? What type of foundation will it have? If it's an existing house, what's there now?

Please post images directly -- no need to make a PDF of an image. Identifying the rogue roof plane will help. Showing a perspective overview with the problem roof planes a different color roofing makes it clear. Posting your plan file helps others to provide a solution instead of a guess.

The shower needs to be a room. Enter -3" in the Floor field. You may need to delete your foundation first, then rebuild with the change.

You could use the backsplash tool for the light gray siding and the trim. I would make a new wall type with that type of siding and fill in where it does not work. A soffit would also work for the trim where it's not curved.

You should be able to select the wall in elevation and reshape the bottom as you require. You will be working with the wall polyline, so the break, and change line to arc tools will be helpful. Sometimes a doorway could be used, but I believe the stone would keep that from working.
