circular counter top

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have been quiet for a while as things have been going well, until now that is.

Im trying to create a 3/4 circular counter top for a kitchen counter that attaches to a corner wall. I have been trying to figure the out on my own but its just wasting too much time.

Any ideas? See attachment for the shape I'm after.

Thanks

W

draw a CAD circle 1st , as a guide , the countertop should "snap" to it I think , then use break line tool to adjust 3/4 shape.......sorry no time to tinker right now....

Be sure to use the 'break line' tool and not the 'break wall' tool.

Jo-Ann hi may I ask how you took that screen shot and put text in the shot? I use snipping that comes with Office and does not allow me to type.

The five 'steps' were individually exported from the program as 5 jpegs and then sent to photoshop to be merged as one.  I then added the text and arrows.  You can probably do the same thing in the paint program.

You can also import the jpeg back into the HD program and then add the text and arrows (within the program), or,  add the text and arrows before exporting it the 1st time.

just to confirm that the Paint programs does work for adding text to pics

The Snipping Tool is also part of Win7 in the Accessories if you don't have Office and don't need text it will allow highlighting and has Pens if you write well with a mouse or have a Pen Tablet like a Wacom Bamboo.
