dbneil4056
If you look at the attached .tiff file, you will note that my interior wall is extending through the ceiling & roof, showing on the exterior wall where there should be siding. Can anyone suggest how I can resolve this so the exterior wall matches the adjacent? Siding Issue.tiff
katalyst777
The image actually makes it look like your roof plane is cutting part of the wall off. Could you attach the plan itself?

Solution DavidJPotter Posted November 23, 2015 Solution Share Posted November 23, 2015 What you have is a very tall wall due to the ceiling height of the area it is a part of. What you must do to handle is to make that single wall a pony wall with an exterior wall type on top and an interior 4 wall below adjusting the two resulting wall poly lines so that the exterior portion shows to the outside and the lower portion displays an interior wall to the inside. This can easily be done in Home Designer Pro or Architectural that have the pony wall option. DJP
solver
I deleted the roof and walls from the first floor up, then redrew as 2 floors, the second being Open Below. Then replaced the roof, and changed the siding.
dbneil4056
Since my plan is attached to this blog stream, I thought that I would post a new issue that I found. Not sure how it happen, but I was making some modifications to the walls and did on one recent revision raise the garage floor. Perhaps someone can advise a easy fix for what is shown, since you can access the garage structure. Thanks also for both suggestions to the wall problem. I'll try the pony wall solution first since it requires less steps and I have Pro2016. Garage Wall Shift.tiff
