Designer_Ryan
Every time I split the plant shelf room, the wall in the middle extends through. I have selected each room, one for the fridge, and the other for the pantry, and lowered the ceiling on both. What could I do to prevent the middle wall from extruding through the top, automatically, every time? I've added the drawing file for you to view. Thanks. Rookie65
While I don't open .plan files that people post, have you thought of making that wall a solid railing and setting the railing height to what the other rooms are? And again, you would likely benefit from spending a lot of time with the reference manual to understand the program better.
solver
Pro 2024 doesn't have the problem. The Shelf Ceiling feature when first introduced was somewhat buggy. If you are using the software in a business, I'll suggest you stay current. One of the rather stupid policies of Chief Architect is they sometimes fix problems in new versions, but don't update older ones.

Rookie65, I have tried the solid railing, but after getting it to the correct height, and changing the top of the railing to drywall, the top of the plant shelf, at times have not been solid. You can see the difference where the railing is. Here's a pic of what happens when I use railing. I also, still have the sides extruded. Jo_Ann Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM It's kind of unclear what you really want. Is it something like this, or a level shelf top across the entire unit?

Jo_Ann Posted yesterday at 02:10 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:10 AM It's pretty simple. Open the pantry "room", set it as shelf ceiling, then set it's finished ceiling height. Open the refrigerator "room", set as shelf ceiling, then set the ceiling height the same as the pantry room.
