melanieobriendes 1 Posted January 22, 2020 Can I assign a certain layer to specific text? I'm working up a lighting plan and would like to turn off the text for those specific notes when I turn off the layer. Is that possible?
solver 644 Posted January 22, 2020 Answers often depend on which title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (2018, 2019 etc) you are using. You can help everyone by adding that info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. And, turn on signature display too. ---- Resources for self help: The built in Help System (always a good place to start) Getting Started Knowledge Base YouTube

In order to do as you wish, you would need to upgrade to Chief Architect Premier where you can place any object on any existent layer or even create custom layers named as you see fit and any object of text on such layers along with many other awesome features and abilities.
