Stubar4
This is what Auto Roof does when i install the roof.

solver
I reduced the pitch on the front porch wall to 3 and this is the result. Is this generally what you want? If this is an existing house, can you post an image showing the roof?
Stubar4
Thanks Solver. Yes! That is what i was trying to accomplish. This is the front of the house and it needs something to make it more presentable. I'm looking for options. I am still having problems with the shed attaching to the front of the house. it wants to attach to the second gable behind it. Any thought on why? solver
Did you change the pitch?
Stubar4
Yes. That's with the change. I've even shorten the porch depth but it continues to adjust the gable
solver
I opened your plan in Architectural 2018, set the pitch to 4, and it works just like my image above which came from Premier. Upgrades to 2018 are $40.00.
Jo_Ann
HDA 2018 and Pro 2018 build that section of the roof as expected (with pitch set at 4"). Pro 2017 refuses to build that section of roof correctly. Odd. Might be a question for tech support.
Stubar4
Thanks Solver and Jo_Ann. I thought i was going crazy. Apparently it's 2017. Looks like i need to upgrade. I appreciate your help on this.
LawB10
Is this what you are trying to do?? I lowered the porch to 84" with a 3" pitch. Made a second floor room over the Living and dining room and lowered them to 0" First and second floor ceiling heights are 96" Mount Vernon - 1.plan
LawB10
Here's how it looks with a divided Porch. Left side is 80" with a 1/4" pitch and the right side is 96" with a 6" pitch...
