English
The stairs down to my basement have an intermediate ninety degree section where the treads are pie shaped. How can I achieve that? I checked the knowledge base but all I can see is the ability to create a curved stair. Also how do I make the first two treads curved e.g where there is no side wall against the first two treads? Thanks Alan
solver
Research winders, or just use landings to make the pie shaped treads. Don't understand "how do I make the first two treads curved e.g where there is no side wall against the first two treads?" What's the issue?
English
Eric Take a look at the photo. The bottom tread is wider than the other and has a rounded profile. Thanks Alan
solver
Make the bottom tread a landing. You can shape the edge like any other polyline.

FlightDeck
Research winders, or just use landings to make the pie shaped treads. Aw geez I wish I had known this... I just bought Pro specifically so I could make winders. I didn't know that the landings could be reshaped in Arch version and their railings turned off/on on any side to make winders without the Pro version. LawB10
Or you could simply click on the starter tread tool, it does the same trick.
