If you create the tray using room divider walls, the framing will show.
-
You do not necessarily need Pro. It depends on the design. You need to post this in Q&A, as Rookie65 suggested. It would also be helpful if you post a floor plan jpeg image, and also a 3d jpeg of what you have created, and where the problem is.

floor Lanai ??????????
-
A custom backsplash is a vertical object, whereas a slab is a horizontal object. They are both shaped in the same way. Consult the reference manual or the knowledge base for how to shape them.
-
Of course I used landings. If you don't know how to shape a landing, look in your reference manual, or check the knowledge base.
-
However, if you're really dedicated...you could make the door panel glass, then add the custom backsplash as the opaque door panel, and then shape it around the vents. Lots of work.
-
You haven't said how you put it on the elevation view. Did you use a cad shape? If you use a custom backsplash, it will show in a 3D view, but of course it won't cut a hole in the cabinet.

After seeing pics of the real house, I modified the roof a little bit more.
-
It's all about elevation regions, and elevation lines. Keep experimenting until you get it right.
-
Something like this?
-
Stay away from elevation points. You will be sorry. Try experimenting with elevation regions.
-
What Rookie65 said about floor level 1, will probably give you fewer problems.

I am not understanding the gable dormer reply.
-
Not hard to do, but maybe hard to explain.
-
Explain "The west gable to be a small dormer".
-
Trying to replicate what you have shown, but not quite understanding: " I want the gable on the south wall to be continuous with the rest of the roof". Is this what you want?
-
I think you missed the point, Rookie65.
-
I'm kind of wondering what a flat-angled roof IS?
-
If the ceiling height for the house is 107.6, try dropping the bump out ceiling to 99.75.
-
What part of the roof (specifically) are you having trouble with? You've been asked to provide an updated plan file, plus more information, if you want someone to be able to help.
-
You said, "I want the ridge centered (on the middle of the house) and for the wall on the right to be shorter". You are too vague when you ask about creating the roofline.
-
As an example, this can be done using the tools available in Suite.
