  1. You haven't answered my last question, about the north side of the house. And it's difficult to communicate with you, because you keep leaving the forum for days or a week.
  2. This roof is complicated for HD Architectural. Based on your floor plan, and dimensions/settings, I have gotten this result. The roof settings, with the various pitches and types, and ceiling heights, are daunting. After looking at the pics of the real house, I think that some of your settings are not accurate, and this can result in some crazy looking roof planes. You did not post a pic of the real house on the north side, so I'm not sure what the roof eaves are supposed to look like on that north wall.
  3. You may think you have posted enough info, but you haven't. What is the 1st floor ceiling height, and what is the height of the 2nd floor knee wall? What is the main roof pitch? Posting a jpeg of the 1st floor plan, and the 2nd floor plan, would be helpful.
  4. Your interior plan needs refining and some creativity. Some food for thought.
  5. For the garage roof, Some trickery is needed. I hope this pic is explanatory enough.
  6. "The pitch change happens a little bit further up". What pitch change are you referring to?
  7. Thanks for moving your post, and thanks for the floor plan image. The main house roof is correct, and you are trying to add a garage addition? It is confusing what the garage roof is supposed to look like. A little more info is needed. Is it supposed to look like this?
  8. You need to post this in the Q& A category. A jpg image of the floor plan would also be useful.
  9. In the floor plan view, select the pdf and delete it or drag it out of the way. The basement walls usually auto build when you draw floor 1.
  10. Very vague description of what you want. The fireplaces in the library are "blocked" and can be exploded. You can then use the parts to create a new custom fireplace. "Can I export that object in order to modify it with another 3D software and import back to Home Designer Pro? " I wouldn't advise that, but why would you even want to?
  11. Because you aren't using core library items, you might need to shape the counter around the sink.
  12. Fixed window on the top, doorway underneath. Doorway reduced height, bottom raised, no threshold. For the opened window, use a wall cabinet with a top hinge framed panel door (option set to open), (set to how many degrees open) panel material (glass). Set the cabinet materials to misc-no material (except for the door ). CTRL slide the cabinet into doorway, and set the height from floor until it is correct. Create a custom countertop extended to the outside.
  13. cabinets won't arch, so think outside the box. What other object allows a top arch, and also has framed glass panels?
  14. Open the knowledge base and search for "Gull Wing" roof.

    hole in the wall

It appears that you've been using the software for almost 7- years, and you haven't figured out which wall you needed to extend?
  16. Allow the program to create a 2nd floor. Move to the 2nd floor of the program, and delete the 2nd floor walls on the house.
  17. Use a room divider wall to divide the deck into 2 halves. Open the room dialog box, deck tab, for one of the halves- change the plank direction to 45°. Open the other half, change the plank direction to 135°.
  18. If you want to get good answers, then you need to use the correct terminology. That is not sagging roof material. That is the ceiling of the tiny room. Open the room dialog structure tab, and check ' use soffit surface for ceiling'.
  19. Square off the bay by creating 2 small rooms on each side of the bay, using invisible walls. Open the small rooms and set them as 'open below'. Set the entire front bay wall (including the front invisible walls) as 'gable'.
  20. On the HD catalog download website, the catalog for Cabinet Hardware #2, specifically for Suite 2023, shows an itemized list of what is in the catalog, and Patrick bar pull #2 is shown. If there is a problem with the catalog, then it should be reported to HD.
  21. I see that the cabinet hardware catalog you downloaded, offers Patrick bar pull #1 and #2. Do you think perhaps you should have chosen to place Patrick bar pull #2? on your cabinets???
