AngieRobshaw
I'm not finding a way to create a metal ledge on a monolithic slab? Is there a way I've missed? Or must this be done manually? I have read and watched all sorts of things. My foundation does not seem to move when I change the wall specifications. The foundation remains built under the framing rather than extending out. I'm confused because under wall definitions it shows something different. solver
Do you have Auto Rebuild Foundation checked?
AngieRobshaw
Yes, It is on. I have tried turning it off and on. Deleting the slab and having it rebuild. Changing the wall specs. The foundation continues to build the same. The exterior looks like this, in spite of what the wall details show. Thank you, Angie Robshaw
solver
Something wrong with your plan attachment. Try again.

DavidJPotter
Angie, I downloaded your file, turned on "Auto Rebuild Foundation" and like you, it did not work in Pro. In Chief Premier it does work like Eric said but you also have brick ledge settings in the Wall Specification dialog that you do not nave in Pro. So My advice is to just turn on the "Reference Display" while on the foundation level, turn OFF "Auto Rebuild Foundation" and then manually align your foundation wall's outer surface with the first floor walls. solver
Search for ledge in Help. You only have control over the depth, not the height. Your exterior walls are marked as Foundation Wall -- why?
