TiffanyH512
Hi, I am dimensioning a bathroom, and need to specify the height of the pencil moldings in the shower, but I haven't been able to get my program to locate them. After drawing a manual dimension line along the height of the wall, I click on the dimension line so I can place a new marker, so it will locate the molding, but it won't let it stay where I put it. It's as if it doesn't see the room's chair rail molding. Any tips on how to do this other than draw each one manually? Thanks. solver
Dimensions do not locate moldings, except on cabinets. You can place a CAD line or a Point Marker and dimension to them.

Dimension tools in Home Designer Pro and in Chief Premier are identical. See Eric's post above as your solution. DJP
