David_Quick
When I change the ceiling on my gable roof to Cathedral it does not draw the attic wall. Any thoughts. Searched the forum but did not see this specific issue.
solver
Go to the attic level and verify there is no wall there -- it may be there but set to invisible.
DavidJPotter
If no wall, then draw one manually. DJP
David_Quick
I spent several hours yesterday trying to do that. Nothing I do shows up. The only thing that draws the wall is if I set the flat ceiling option. As an aside the gable walls on the other two sides works just fine. David_Quick
Solver, I will try that when I get back to the office.
solver
If you still have a problem, attach the plan file -- close Pro first.
David_Quick
I resolved it by going to the attic level and creating a wall. There did not appear to be a wall there. This is an exercise in learning the software so it is not critical.

The program should automatically be building a wall there. There is probably some setting that is incorrect. I always suggest understanding the program and why it's not doing something, and especially the automatic functions that should be working. Manually adding things, like your wall, changes how the program operates in ways you may not understand, leading to further problems.
David_Quick
I went in and deleted the wall I added. I have attached the plan file as suggested above. Does not appear to be a hidden wall. Garage v3.plan
David_Quick
The circled return is unexpected. Maybe that is what is hosing things up. Garage v3.pdf
solver
Please post images directly -- no need to make a PDF of an image. This makes it easier for others as an image shows in the forum. ----- Generally, it's best to not manually drag wall top and bottom in camera views. As I suggested above, it turns off some automated behavior. Check the box for Default Wall Top and see what happens.

David_Quick
Thanks, no idea how they got turned on in the first place but it looks as expected now. I guess I need to go through every option and ensure i understand what they do,
