RNDesign
Is there a way to create a soffit to run along the back wall against the sloped portions of the ceiling as a crown molding.
DavidJPotter
Place the soffit object so it faces in the direction you wish it to slope. Set is plan view width and height and then in plan view stretch it out from the edge of the wall to under the ridge of the roof. then open its dialog and check "sloped soffit - place under ceiling". The apply your intended material. DJP
RNDesign
Thank you, David. I appreciate the advice. However, when I create the soffit, set its width and height and stretch it out from the edge of the wall to under the ridge of the roof, the option "place under ceiling" becomes grayed out. It is only active when the soffit is under the flat section of ceiling. Any ideas?

neo2222
I'm trying to make sloped soffit above cabinets.. the bottom of the soffit would be level, horizontal...but the top of the soffit would be sloped with ceiling. I cant figure it out. Either soffits are level horizontal ....or if i choose "sloped" ..it makes the bottom and the top of the soffit sloped. thx in advance.
