jshabel
Hello, The base cabinets have an option for a countertop. However, the countertop options are limited. I would like to extend the countertop in one direction only. Separately, I have a custom appliance I want to put in the kitchen area and it needs to have a countertop on it. I see several people on the message boards talking about custom tops. But I am unclear if that is the right way to do this -- or even how to do it. Any quick suggestions? I see this on my trial version of the Professional but not on my purchased Interior 2015 version. Thanks, Jeff
solver
Do you see slabs and/or soffits? They may be used too.
katalyst777
You can modify Base Cabinets so that only the countertop displays. This Knowledge Base article discusses it.http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-00855/
jshabel
Great, thanks. The soffit worked. I will read the article as well. Thanks for the pointers. I am still learning the best search terms!
