Qballky
I have a 48x48x 6 high poured concrete "platform" in my basement. This serves as a landing for the stairs. What is the best way in Suite to model this?
solver
A picture of the platform and stairs would help. I'd use a landing as your stairs will attach to it. Once correct, cover the landing with a soffit changing the material to concrete.
DavidJPotter
If you can create a custom slab in Suite, that can easily then emulate the raised slab in your basement. The only problem with that is that the "Stair" objects are pre-programmed to seek out the actual "floor" of the basement and not your custom slab. I am not sure if you can, in Suite. manually set the stair bottom to rest on a custom slab (you will just have to look and see for yourself). I currently do not have Suite, Interiors or Essentials on my PC. DJP

Great and more proper choice offered by Eric than me, you can manually turn off the default "railings" on a landing by way of its dialog box per edge. Qballky
This is not exact, but close enough. 1) Create Section 1, then 2, 2) click for landing. 3) Delete section 1, 4) turn off railings on landing. 5) adjust landing size Thanks all for your advice.
