I'm trying to put it on a custom shape I created though it keeps moving around randomly and defaulting to the below level. Can't then see any way to reset the base height, and transform controls don't allow me to manually move it up higher. Any help appreciated. Image shows the railing which I am trying to place on top of the patio area. I can get it to generate where wanted though it keeps moving down to the garage level. I was trying to use a railing though have ended up just going with fence panels for ease as I can adjust their position more easily. Not as many customisation options, though it will do the job okay.
