krimco1 0 Posted June 2, 2019 Hello! In the 3D render attached the shed roof on the left with the skylight is correct. But the roof on the right over the garage is supposed to be a gable roof. I can't figure this one out. Blueprint view also attached. Thanks in advance!
solver 644 Posted June 2, 2019 For questions like this always best to attach the plan file. Close Suite first. And to be clear, your image shows the gable end of the garage roof -- it should not be over the garage door?
krimco1 0 Posted June 2, 2019 Nope. Hip wall is over the door. That's the problem. I need the wall in-between to be both a hip wall and a gable wall. Plan file too large but here's a dropbox link https://www.dropbox.com/s/sxs85ksdtby7rar/13 Hyde (Remodel 2).plan?dl=
krimco1 0 Posted June 3, 2019 I take it you’re having no more luck than I was

LawB10 11 Posted June 3, 2019 The reason that part of the roof would not gable, is because you have two different ceiling heights. The Office and the Garage has different ceiling heights, make them the same. Make the office side walls full gable and the front wall(s) high shed.
krimco1 0 Posted June 4, 2019 Thanks for the solutions!! @LawB10 I like yours since I can do it natively in Suite. However, when I do it to my plan I get this odd overhang on the gable end. Can't figure out how to get rid of it. Thoughts...?
krimco1 0 Posted June 4, 2019 Also since you guys are familiar with my plan now I'll throw another problem I'm having at you. The roof line at the front of the house is off. The second floor extends out a bit and creates its' own roof line instead of extending the existing one. The attached pictures explain it pretty well. I can't figure out how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
