TheQuisto
Sometimes when selecting an object the temporary dimension appears as an exterior dimension. Is there anyway to manually change it to an interior dimension? I've noticed that if zoom into the drawing close enough it will switch, but it would be nice to not have to do that every time. solver
If you are asking about windows and doors, click on the interior side (or exterior) to get dimensions to show on that side.
lexington
I too have not been getting this temporary interior dimension feature (when clicking the interiors of doors or windows) since I upgraded to Pro 2016. I now have Pro 2019 and it still isn't working. Any clues as to why and/or a fix? Inadvertent buried setting somewhere? Thanks, Rock HDPRO2019
DavidJPotter
Temporary dimensions are a preprogrammed automatic function and as such will not be as predictable or reliable as manual dimensions. If you can write code that will read the mind of an end user on the fly, then become a famous millionaire, otherwise, understand that preprogrammed automaticity is not going to be "right" all the time. Move on to things and subjects that you, personally can control is my advice. DJP
