Serious Error followed by Unexpected Quit

Hi Everyone,

  I just purchased Home Designer Pro 2 days ago and have multiple serious error messages as well as unexpected quits.  Prior to purchasing I was in the trial version of Premier and had the quitting a couple times but no error messages.  It seems to occur when I'm in the catalogs, this morning it was a manufacturer's catalog placing furniture.  If this is important; I'm on a brand new  '17 MacBook Pro; 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7; 16 GB memory; graphics; Intel HD graphics 630 1536 MB.  I spoke with tech support yesterday and we did a reboot, he said this is typically the case on Mac's.  I'm no enjoying this issue of the quitting and do not think it should be happening on my machine.  Hoping to get some insight, tech support is closed today.
