Ande1314
For Some reason my foyer roof gets messed up. The Porch has a covered Gable roof which is supposed to happen in the Foyer and Stairs leading into the Great Room. Alas, it is not cooperating...I cannot get the right combination...Roofs are very hard work...

solver
? Remember roofs build over rooms. You raise or lower the ceiling to raise or lower the roof.
Ande1314
but how do you get the foyer to gable? I have made all of the walls full gable, I think...
solver
What you want to do is an unnatural condition for the program. Its roof generator is programmed to not do what you want. You are wanting a roof slope to dead end into a wall. This is where having manual roof tools helps, as you can draw in whatever shape you want. I'm not sure how to override the default behavior, but I'll think about it.
LawB10
To get the foyer to Gable, you lower the ceiling height of the Porch...
