TyConDesign
Hey everyone, I am new to CAD construction design products and need a little advice. I have HD PRO 2017 on a MAC. I wish I would have gotten this a LONG time ago! I love the program, but am having a definite learning curve. I am having trouble with using multiple exterior surfaces. Ex. when I change the siding product on one wall, they all change. How can I change the exterior product per wall? I want to use a variety of products on different walls for creativity and appeal. Also, any suggestions on working with ICF foundations and what to use for the exterior finish, on walls not buried? I find that the tutorials are rushed and find myself doing a LOT of rewinding and reviewing. Thanks!
DavidJPotter
Take a look at the Reference Manual sections on assigning materials, the Material eye dropper and painter are the last tools to use for that purpose and not until you have studied and practiced with those tools four operating modes.
