ethanjsmith82
I am sure this is a simple question...how do I get CAD line weights to display in floor plan view? No matter what number I enter into the specifications dialog box for the line, it just displays the same thin line. I looked in the help section but they either didn't explain it well or I didn't read it properly. Surely I can't be the only person who wants to achieve this with a CAD line? DavidJPotter
Unless you also turn on "Show Line Weights", they will not visually show, look it up in the Reference Manual or do a Search in Help. Such changes will show when you print but you get a relative visual change with "Show Line Weights" turned on. DJP
ethanjsmith82
Thank you, I've found that option and turned it on. However, it doesn't seem to make a difference. In floor plan view they still look the same as the default lines.
solver
I've often wanted to do this, but never found a way. Line Weights The weight of a line refers to its thickness on the printed page and is described in absolute terms as a fraction of a unit, often 1/100th of a millimeter or 1/1000 of an inch. Try sending to Layout.
katalyst777
You may not be making large enough changes for the Show Line Weights to be obvious depending on how far you're zoomed out. Top line is at default of 18, middle line set to 50 for the Line Weight, last line set to 100.
