RichT66 1 Posted November 16, 2015 Hi UK based new user I've had lots of fun getting floors and foundations right in my drawing, with even bizarre things like Attic walls appearing with foundations but making progress now by building my foundations on stem walls manually on floor zero. I wanted to add insulation below the slab, but I only have one layer in the 'floor structure definition dialogue'. My floor defaults are set to 'slab at top of stem wall' which looks correct on cross-section elevation. Any clues? R HD Pro 2016
solver 644 Posted November 16, 2015 I was just wondering about this same thing, and believe you will need to manually draw it in as a detail.
DavidJPotter 207 Posted November 18, 2015 In Pro, I would place a soffit object, resize it and then control-drag it down to where I needed it assigning its material to be "Insulation". I suppose you need-want that there for "Materials List" purposes or perhaps for a cross section/Wall Typical view. You could also use a custom slab object and assign its material as "Insulation", either method will work. BTW if a wall typ or cross section is your product, HD Pro has a 2D CAD "Insulation Tool" for that purpose (look under the "CAD" menu "Box tools") DJP
