Tripyrenees
I am redrawing my house design and I cannot remember where to start to create the split shed roof with sloping ceilings (open attic) for all rooms. Can you point me in the right direction - is it an attic or a 2nd floor and how do I split this roof. (house plan is already drawn) Thank you. Rookie65
Manual roofs - check "roof above this room", and uncheck "flat ceiling over this room" for the 2 rooms. You'll probably need to draw a wall in the attic where the 2 roofs intersect under the higher roof.
Tripyrenees
I found the topic on Clerestory roof building but this increases the height of the roof on one side. Both front and rear walls need to be the same height. Also the internal walls are a mess once this is done. Not easy this one. Cheers
Rookie65
Manually draw the roofs with the fascia's at the same heights. Going by your picture, your ridges are 2 different heights. Change the pitch for each roof.
y-g-m-n Posted yesterday at 10:46 AM Share Posted yesterday at 10:46 AM seems like one story with on side having sloped ceiling under roof ( so NO Flat roof. and set wall height to low side for shed rood and then the shed roof slope. Then under porch do the same should auto build if not this is simple enough to build you own roof planes and ceiling planes. As for attic looks too short to have 2nd story inside. if you did would only be 4ft or so
