Hi all. Sorry i am having difficulty getting this forum to operate. I have a drawing with an elevated slab. And when I select the slab and change materials it changes the outside and all the floors including outside patio and all rooms.

I do have interior 8 inch block walls, which I need here in the Bahamas, but I am not seeing any option to locate rooms. Any ideas as what I am doing wrong would be appreciated.

thanks

Steve

It would seem that you have deleted your previous posts, so now, no one can see what was posted or replied.
You are not likely to get any help, by doing this.

Did you watch the video tutorials?

first off your interior rooms are no defined since you did not close any off.

So do not stop wall for doorway.

Continue wall to enclose a space. to create a room.

Then add in a door where you want it.

This is a basic stuff they teach you via help and website info, videos etc.

Hel pyourself by first reviewing all that material first.

Hi All

Ok I did not delete any posts. However it seems I was doing something wrong with the walls. I will check this and see if a continuous wall corrects the room issue. As I do not seem to have any rooms. Thanks I will re-look at the tutorials. I obviously must have missed something. I will let you all know how my corrective action works.

Hi All

I checked all rooms, and all have continuous walls with doors inserted. Not sure why I cannot seem to actually have rooms. I remember I did delete the interior walls initially as they were not 8 inch concrete block and I replaced them with the block and I used exterior block walls.  Maybe this messed things up for me. Do you think I should delete all the 8 inch interior block walls and build new walls again with 8 inch block interior walls? Can I make the interior walls 8 inch block walls? If someone can point me in the right corrective direction I will most certainly run with it to try and correct this situation I have.

I really appreciate any guidance anyone can give me. Thanks

Steve

Exterior walls go on the exteriors and interior go on the interior. Create an interior wall type of block and try that. Make sure that the wall is set to define rooms. Can always try reading the help or reference manual as well. Please try shortening the title of your post too. No one wants to read a novel.
