Shed Roof Over Back Porch

Hello all,

I am attempting to build a shed roof (flatter pitch) over a back porch but after watching videos I am still at a loss. It appears all I need to do is make the pitch less over the porch but when I attempt this it goes haywire. I have attached photos of what the roof currently is set to, the floor plan, and the roof I am attempting to draw. Thanks in advance. Using Home Designer Pro 2024.

What have you tried?

What does haywire look like?

Here are some tip.

Say what you have tried, and show the result. Often it's a simple thing and the problem can be resolved just by looking at the images.

Attach the plan file. Close Pro, zip if larger than 14MB and attach as you did the images. With the plan file, someone can take a quick look instead of guessing.

The program is not perfect. Sometimes you can make all the correct settings, but the program fails.

Sometimes, when working on roofs with Pro, you will need to use the manual roof tools.

The people here are all volunteers, so try to make it easy on us. No one wants to spend time repeating what is covered in the help system, or in a video.

If you really want help with a plan, you shouldn't leave the forum for 18 hours.

Anyone wanting to help will lose interest.

I can't view your plan, so this is a wild guess, using auto-build roof.
