MatthewM
Creating a cathedral ceiling (in the room below the missing section of gable), seems to cause a section of the gable to go missing. Any help? Is there a different tactic for creating the cathedral ceiling? What would be the way to correct this?
scottharris
Can you post the plan?
MatthewM
The file seems to be to large. If you wouldn't mind providing your email, I could try sending it to you that way.
Rookie65
You should be able to go to the attic floor and extend the wall over the room. Or try taking the ceiling plane line and bringing it all the way to the wall where the window is. This has been asked about many times, so there are likely previous posts about it that you can search for under keywords.
scottharris
If you need to post the plan, you could use a zip file or post a link on a cloud drive. It appeared in the plan view your ceiling plane was over the top of one of the walls.
Garybills
Scott, I’ve had this happen a lot when you have auto rebuild roofs on and mark the one room no flat ceiling. You can drag the attic wall over and cover it up but then it hangs down in the room so you have to adjust the bottom of the wall also.

There was a post on May 2nd with a similar issue, no good results other than manually extended the gable wall.

scottharris
Matt, there's no automatic way for the attic wall to generate due to the two roof planes near a ceiling vault. It can easily be manually adjusted.
