How do I get really specific with material on a wall

i don't know if you guys had this problem when you want to add a backslash to your kitchen and it goes above the upper cabinets and i don't want the whole wall. Any suggestions

In Architectural under cabinets you will find a "Custom Backsplash" tool where you can, while in an elevation view use that tool to draw a custom polyline that defines the area of the custom backsplash you wish to create. You can have multiple such objects on a single wall with different materials as you wish.
