MattCarp
I think this is an easy question, but I can't find the answer in the forum or in the reference manual. I'm using Home Designer Pro 2023. I discovered an "S" indicator on the corner of my plan's basement concrete foundation wall. Does anyone know what it means? Is it bad? How should I correct the problem, if it is a problem? Thank you, Matt

DavidJPotter
"S" stands for "Step Marker". A Step Marker indicates a change in height within the perimeter of a foundation stem wall height. That data as Eric pointed out is defined in your Reference Manual and can be turned on or off via the Foundation Specification Dialog found in Default Settings, please, do take a look. MattCarp
Thank you guys. I did not intend for a stepped wall. Looking in 3D view at the foundation, in particular from below the foundation, I saw some inconsistencies. So, I deleted the walls and re-plotted them, which removed the steps, and most importantly corrected the inconsistencies.
