why the ceiling is dark?

how can I make the ceiling look white?

I'm using HDPro 2022. for some reason the ceiling is dark and anything I try doesn't work.

I played with the camara exposure, color adjustment, the number of lights and light intensity.

nothing worked. attached is a picture of the dark ceiling and a screenshot of my operating system.

You can try to turn off "Shadows" and see it that helps. You can use the "Adjust Material Definition" tool on the ceiling material to adjust its properties. It is usually "settings" of one kind or another that make visual differences.

Probably because all the lights are pointing down, making the ceiling one big shadow.
