Straight Glass Pony Wall Transparency

Trying to change glass transparency to straight glass pony wall using adjust material definition tool, but cannot click on the upper glass portion. just opens what's behind the glass. I used the tool to adjust the glass door with no problem. Newbie here. Thanks

Don't know what your pic is supposed to be showing.

You need to explain more clearly what you are trying to do, and what the end result is supposed to be.

Thought question was straight forward. Pic is straight glass pony wall with marble cap. Want to change transparency of glass on top of wall like I did the glass door on left so i can see it in camera view. I changed door on left with adjust material definition tool but can't click on glass portion of wall just highlights room wall.

Hi Eric thanks for the video. It worked when I did a new sample plan like yours but can't get it to work in my current plan,

Don't know what you did. but you should be able to select it with the rainbow tool.

Open the wall, and check to see what material is being used for the top of the pony wall.

 

Most shower glass walls do not extend to the ceiling or over the door.  The pony wall will extend to the ceiling.

Is that what you want?

Attach the plan.

 

Draw a new wall and try it.

 

Copy a wall from your test plan to the problem plan.
