Renovation/Remodel - change overlay

Hi Team,

I am located in New South Wales - Australia and I am quoting on a large renovation. I have produced the before and after plans but need to show Council a set of plans with new overlaid on the as constructed. I have exported both to the same layout and this is substandard. Is there a way for the existing to be shown in grey or some other subdued colour so I can overlay the changes clearly?

Change the layer color.

 

Change to black and white.

 

Set Color is Grayscale. 

 

You will need to experiment to see what works best for you.

Create a new wall type as 'existing walls' that mimics the new walls;  but change the wall background color so its identified differently as the existing building part; there is a wall hatch tool that just hatches walls on the fly;

That's exhausted my capabilities;
