DeCoste
I designed a new bathroom. When I try to get a material list for the framing lumber, its not included. Only wallboard, trim and a few other items are listed, no studs.
DavidJPotter
What software are you using? Have you ordered framing to be built (in some HD titles it will not read framing unless you build it first) DJP

DeCoste
Solver, I do not understand what you are referring to. "You can help everyone by adding this info to your signature (see below for how to turn them on) by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page, click Account Settings, then Signature on the left." Adding what to my signature? turning what on?

DeCoste
Ok, I have added in my signature what I'm running for software and the laptop I'm running. I designed a new bathroom. When I try to get a material list for the framing lumber, its not included. Only wallboard, trim and a few other items are listed, no studs listed. Am, I not doing something correct? solver
You must build framing. You have the option to turn on automatically rebuild framing, or just build framing once.
DeCoste
Thank you Eric, however, that didn't work either. I've tried everything I can find in videos, this forum and online
solver
If you will attach your plan file (close Pro first), I'll take a look.
DeCoste
Eric I have attached it. I am very new to HD so not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thank you for the assistance. Gary 1345_State.plan
solver
You do need to generate a new materials list when you make changes. If you add a wall for example, its framing will not show in an existing materials list.
DeCoste
Eric Understood. Is that list above from the an area, room or overall plan? I cannot see any framing from any one room or area. Thank you G
DeCoste
Eric I see. its from "All floors". That is a bit useful but shouldn't I be able to click a wall and get a material list from said wall? or one room or an area I select?
solver
Have you looked in Help? It tells you what you need to know, and should be the first place you look with questions.
