55145514
I AM ASKING THIS QUESTION WITH MORE INFO. I am using Pro17. I need builtin gas grills to insert into an indoor Kitchen. The SOLVER, lead me to KB 00888. I have tried to follow it about 20 times. I downloaded Sketchup app. Logged in, searched and found gas grills, selected the picture, select the new one and clicked download, it loads into my down load folder. I open HD, and my plan, File-import, import symbol file, select the item and open. I get an error msg. " This SKP file was created in an incompatible software version." I do not get the SYMBOL SPECIFICATION DIALOG to open as the instruction say will happen. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks for any help, Bill
solver
If you will provide a link to the SKP file, others may test the procedure. The SKP may have been created in a newer version of SketchUp, not supported by Pro 2107.

LawB10
Go to 3d Warehouse, find the grill you want click on it, click the download button then click on the version (2015, 2016, 2017). Open HD and import the .skp file you downloaded.

55145514
Echelon+Diamond+e660.skp Solver Sorry I do not know if this is what you were asking for. But it is all I know how to do. Thanks, Bill
solver
Worked fine for me, but I'm using a 2018 version. My guess is that symbol was made in the latest version of SketchUp which is not supported in Pro 2017.
