mmdesignbuild
This project is an addition - the new structure ties in to the house adjacent to an area that has a vaulted ceiling (see attached). Since I want to leave the existing vaulted ceiling as is, I plan to "piggy back" the new roof over the old. The problem I am having is on the interior views. The existing vaulted ceiling is following the new roof line where they meet (see attached). How can I maintain the original roof vault when I add the new roof above? Thanks!! solver
You might post your plan file. Make sure it's not open in the program. Look in your library for Inverted Wedge. If you have it, it could be used to fill in the space.

Jo_Ann
I think that your only solution will be to build a sloped ceiling plane in sketchup, and import it into the program.

TomGriff
Try placing a room divider where you want the original vaulted ceiling to extend and check the "ceiling over this room" box in the new addition. Tom
