poncelet
I have been modeling my existing house with Home Designer Pro. Today, I used these instructions to create a manual dormer in a room. It worked just fine! The dormer extends right to the exterior wall, and is covered with a gable roof. (See the attached image from my plan for the dormer setup.) However, when rendering the room, the finished ceiling doesn't extend out through the "skylight" hole in the roof. (See attached rendered example.) I can see through to the underside of the gable roof panes, but I'd rather see the finished ceiling there. Is there a way to extend the ceiling into the dormer space? DavidJPotter
Each wall, roof plane and poly-line hole in the roof if required have dialog boxes and Materials Tabs for editing just like the rest of the objects in a plan file. Treat them accordingly. DJP

LawB10
Use the full floor camera and add the material manually.
