RunningAmok
Ok... maybe this is easy but I've searched the knowledge base and still can't figure out why I am unable to select multiple windows and make global edits. When I select more than one window the open object is not available.
solver
It's usually because you have something other than a window selected. I opened my trial copy of Suite, and could not make this work either. It does work in Pro.
LawB10
In Suite you can't, you have to upgrade to Pro for multiple editing. Click Edit>default settings>windows
RunningAmok
Well that's disappointing and likely very intentional. I'm not sure I'm that impressed yet. If dimensioning and terrain features don't vastly improve as I learn the tool, it will not be a long term investment for me. Thankfully my project is small. RunningAmok
On a similar topic... can anyone confirm that you must have Pro version to mirror an object. Transform replicate seems to be the method which is only available in Pro, Also need to rotate objects with precision. Seems I need Transform Replicate to do that also. solver
Even for a similar topic, you should start a new thread. Can you explain what and how you want to mirror? You can set the angle of something directly in Pro, or use Transform Replicate. Pro also has a Make Parallel tool. Suite does not seem to have these things. You can set the angle of a wall, which can help sometimes. Don't know how people use anything less than Pro.
RunningAmok
I guess you get what you pay for At the moment I need to place a replicated dormer on the other side of the roof. I've also wanted to mirror other objects including furniture, cabinets, staircases and even an entire floor plan. I need to precisely rotate a scanned image of my plat. The ability to mirror, make parallels/perpendicular are all basics features that I must have if I continue with this software.
solver
I don't know if Architectural has these features, but the trials are free, so it's easy to see for yourself.
