How to side a pole building

I am using Designer Pro 9.0

 

I am drawing a pole barn using the techniques show in the support.  How do you side these walls.  I have the posts, roof, and doors.  I change the material, but that doesn't seem to work.

 

Also, how can you put windows in this?

 

This building is made as a porch per the instructions.

What type of siding will you have?

 

I would define a new wall type that is a single layer of whatever type of siding you are using, or one with additional layers as needed.

 

Use it to wrap the structure.

What you do is to take an existing siding wall type and pare it down, layer-wise until the wall is only one layer thick (the siding layer) and then you draw your walls next to your posts. That will emulate siding directly connected to your poles, such a wall type, properly set up will then reveal siding on both of its sides.
