etefonori
I have a plan where I need to see the wall under the top of the stair (closet under stair) but the stairs are over the wall and the wall is no longer visible. How do I 'break' the stairs in the 1st floor view?
solver
Why do you need to see the wall? You may turn off the stair layer so stairs do not show on the plan -- at least in Pro. A similar question was discussed a few weeks ago. A search should find the thread. What Title (Suite, Pro etc) and version (10, 2015 etc) do you have? DavidJPotter
Stair objects (stairs and landings) each have a "Dialog with a Fill Tab". This can be set to "no fill transparent" and then anything under such objects cant then be clearly seen in plan views. DJP
Kbird1
he needs to do the opposite David , he wants to see the wall ....so set the Staircase fill to Transparent , I usually use 50% , in these case as HD/Chief cannot do the Traditional stair beak per old hand draw/ACAD plans as it's a 3D program not 2D. But word is there are working on it for future versions as it's been asked for often.
