SandraH
Is there any way to modify a kitchen cabinet so the back is set to 0 to create a triangular cabinet? I have a kitchen where the front will taper from 18" to 0 in the back, as the cabinets finish at an angled wall. I have played with the angled front, but its not exactly as I envisioned. I kind of solved it by making a cabinet that is only 4 inches deep and cover with a custom counter, but wondered if there was an alternative for these (rare) instances? Solution scottharris Posted Thursday at 02:40 AM Solution Share Posted Thursday at 02:40 AM Sandra, I think how you have done this looks good. The angled front is not a good fit here. I did this on a past project in a similar way.
SandraH
Thanks Scott. Just needed confirmation. Not ideal, but this is a poolhouse, not a full kitchen.
y-g-m-n
This is when your local custom cabinet maker gets involved... As they could make a cabinet box to fit and tie into others and look seamless. Not much storage inside so doors only. For software I would draw a base cabinet that is only 3/4" deep (sheet of plywood they use in cabinets) Door Front Only. Then add custom countertop to cover top.
