  1. I don't do much with terrains, but took a quick look at your plan.

I believe the lines you see are generated based from the elevation points you have placed and cannot be directly edited.

You can, I think, add or adjust points, or add other modifiers like I've done here to influence how the terrain is generated.

I changed the line weight of things and turned on Show Line Weights so they would be visible. Also changed colors.

  2. Suite lacks any framing tools.

You may be able to use an additional floor set to a short -- maybe 0" ceiling height to help fake the look.

    This might help you.

I have swapped my license onto a new computer.

Is this a new install, or something that was working before? You can move your license between multiple machines.

When I check this option from the drop down box nothing happens.

    The program window is maximized?

I plan to have the 6x6s continuous from the footing to the beam above for the roof trusses, and hang the triple 2x12 deck beam between the posts using a concealed-flange triple joist hanger, then hang the floor joists to the back of it.

All done manually. Post generated as part of a railing cannot be manually manipulated.

I am confused why this won't generate symmetrically.

Not something anyone can answer without knowing exactly the steps taken.

Attaching the plan file (close Pro first) will give someone something to experiment with.

I am left with mismatched top of plate values and the way the roof generates at the connection between upper and lower pitches is a mess.

Did you Join (with the Join tool) those 2 roof planes?
